Microphone Access and Recording

GuitarPal requests microphone access only when you actively use recording features. The microphone is used to record your practice audio for in-app practice purposes (such as playback and comparison during practice).

Local Data Storage

All practice data (such as practice sessions, exercises, statistics, and audio recordings) is stored locally on your device. GuitarPal does not upload your recordings or other practice data to developer servers.

Third-Party Services and Sharing

GuitarPal may collect anonymous usage data for product analytics and to improve the app experience. This data is not used for advertising, and GuitarPal does not share your recordings or other practice content with third parties.

Your Controls

• You can delete recordings inside the app at any time.
• You can disable microphone permission in system settings at any time (recording features will no longer be available until permission is re-enabled).
